Dr. Daniel Hwang

Dr. Hwang is a Seattle-area native growing up in the neighborhood of Ballard and is a graduate of the University of Washington where he earned a dual degree Bachelor of Science in biology (physiology) and  microbiology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA.

Dr. Hwang is a current member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Washington State Dental Assocation (WSDA), and the Seattle King County Dental Society (SKCDS). Dr. Hwang serves as a member of the ADA Advisory Circle and has been voted among “Top Dentists” as seen in Seattle Met Magazine.

Dr. Hwang and his wife Ivana, a practicing veterinarian, moved back to the Pacific Northwest because he loves the state of Washington and wanted to be closer to family and friends. Dr. Hwang enjoys music and actively participates in a local community orchestra. He used to have other hobbies, but now he has kids.

Dr. Hwang has a strong commitment to his patients and his community. He often spends his days away from the clinic with the various community clinics of King County and Snohomish County, and is a annual volunteer for the Seattle/King County Clinic and other local Federally Qualified Health Centers. Dr. Hwang looks forward to meeting you and taking care of your dental needs!

Shauna is our front office manager, she has over 20 years of customer service and has lived in Bothell for the past 17 years. Shauna enjoys spending time with her husband, Socrates, and two teen children. When she is not at the office she can be found crafting and spending time with her two dogs, Taylor and Loki. Shauna loves getting to know her patients and is excited to be part of the Bothell Family Dental Care team.

 Jasmine is currently attending Lake Washington Institute of Technology in pursuit of becoming a dental hygienist. Jasmine is fluent in Spanish and English. Outside of work, Jasmine enjoys hiking, cars, and hanging out with friends, family, and her dog, Oso. She loves meeting her patients and learning all the things about dentistry and patient care. 

Katelynn is an aspiring dental hygienist who is passionate about helping others feel confident in their health and smile. She enjoys staying active by going to the gym, taking long walks, and hiking whenever she can. In her free time, she loves going out to eat and trying new foods, especially when it allows her to spend quality time with friends and family. 

Ari began her dental career as a dental hygienist in 2012 when she graduated from Seattle Central Community College. She has been enjoying educating and encouraging patients through their dental journey ever since. Ari grew up in Iran, lived in Turkey for a few years prior to moving to the states and currently lives in Kirkland. She speaks Farsi, Turkish, and English. Ari enjoys the outdoors, art, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
